HOUSTON, TX – There is a virus that is spreading in police stations across the country. It is called the blueco pedocopis. It is an airborne pathogen that attacks the brain by mutating the synapses creating a false sense of entitlement in cops. This entitlement metastasizes into “puppy love” creating a new breed of cops called pedo-cops. The longer they remain untreated or jailed, the stronger the hold becomes. It is oftentimes hard to pick out the symptoms but some things to look for are: a desire to be around children, a proficiency in the younger generation’s vernacular, and quiet support for pedophiles. In the case of Texas school cop Jorge Bastida, the bug struck early.

22-year-old Bastida was in training to be a school cop when authorities say he raped a 12-year-old girl multiple times and recorded it on his phone. He was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

According to the prosecutors, Bastida met the unidentified girl on the Meetme app.

The app is described as a tool to help “you find new people nearby who share your interests and want to chat NOW! It’s fun, friendly, and free!”

The 12-year-old reportedly sent Bastida nude photos of herself supposedly through the app. After a series of messages back and forth, the pedo-cop arranged a meet with the girl. The Texas school cop hailed an Uber to pick her up and bring her to his apartment in Cypress. From there the pair went to a motel on Huffmeister. Bastida forced himself on her even after she told him she was only 12. She said no to the sexual advances but the Texas school cop persisted.

Police say the girl feared for her life with Bastida. He easily overpowered her shoving her onto the bed and holding her down by the neck. After the deed was done, Bastida left the girl alone in the motel claiming he had to go to work. He was training to be a school police officer at Cy-Fair ISD. Police later found the girl still in the room after she was reported missing by her mother.

In a hearing Thursday the judge cited Bastida’s position of trust and presence around children when he set his bail at $250,000. Bastida is still behind bars. He resigned from the Cy-Fair ISD police department on Tuesday after he was confronted with the allegations.
