‘If a 12-year-old girl cannot trust her mother to love and protect her, who in this world can she ever trust? She certainly wouldn’t expect her mother to be assisting in the rape,’ Fregiato said during Carpenter’s sentencing. “It’s a crime against nature.”
An Ohio mom (for a lack of better words) has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to helping her live-in boyfriend, James John Kirksey, rape one of her children. Instead of being a mother and protecting her seed from harm, like maybe her own mother did, she allowed penis to cloud what little backward judgement she had and helped her deadbeat live-in boyfriend rape her 12-year-old on multiple occasions. Carpenter pleaded guilty to charges of one count of complicity to commit rape, two counts of permitting to child abuse, one count of endangering children, and one count of obstructing official business, WTRF reported.
Rather than shelter the pre-teen, 37-year-old Jeannie Mae Carpenter victimized her daughter. The 32-year-old boyfriend, according to news reports, was already a registered sex offender. He was sentenced to two life terms in prison by Frank Fregiato.
According to reports, Carpenter held her daughter down while her boyfriend, James John Kirksey, raped the tween several times. It was not known exactly how long the abuse has been going on or how it began but it was the girl that notified relatives about the abuse. She claimed it had been going for the last couple of weeks.
The Ohio mom would be eligible for parole after serving 20 years in prison. While on parole she would have to register as a Tier 3 sex offender requiring her to re-register every 90 days for the rest of her life.
It’s tragic and unfathomable to think a mother would do such thing. Some would excuse her psychological state or allege and abusive boyfriend but what about personal accountability? Social media has weighed in on the sentencing and many suggest the sentence was too light for the mom. Many claim that it is just another example of the justice system passing harsher sentences to men than women while allowing women to continue to destroy the future.
