Married Republican Gay-Basher Busted Having Sex W/ Another Man in His Office

Married Ohio State legislator Wesley Goodman (R) has resigned after coming clean about a sexual tryst he had in his office. The conservative lawmaker, known for his anti-LGBTQ stance, admitted to having sex with another man.

Cliff Rosenberger (R), House Speaker, confirmed after speaking with Goodman, that the legislator admitted to his act of indiscretion in his Riffe Center office.

In a statement with the Columbus Dispatch, Rosenberger said, “I was alerted to details yesterday afternoon regarding his involvement in inappropriate behavior related to his state office.

“I met with him later in the day where he acknowledged and confirmed the allegations. It became clear that his resignation was the most appropriate course of action for him, his family, the constituents of the 87th House District and this institution.”

Goodman resigned after his meeting with Rosenberger citing “inappropriate conduct.” Since the pair reportedly engaged in consensual sex and the other man was neither a staffer or legislator, no charges of sexual harassment will be brought.

“We all bring our own struggles and our own trials into public life. That has been true for me, and I sincerely regret that my actions and choices have kept me from serving my constituents and our state in a way that reflects the best ideals of public service,” he said in a statement. “For those whom I have let down, I’m sorry. As I move onto the next chapter of my life, I sincerely ask for privacy for myself, my family, and my friends.

Several republican insiders have hinted to the presence of a video of Goodman and his partner but the speaker’s spokesperson has denied that allegation.
