White nationalists caught residents of Charlottesville, Virginia by surprise when roughly 40 or so white males clad in Trump fit (khaki pants and white polos) and carrying tiki torches stormed through protesting the planned removal of the Confederate General Robert E. Lee statue. White privilege and pride in perceived jeopardy, these red-blooded Americans chanted, “Jews will not replace us!” as their torches blazed the night sky. The next day, the city continued its descent into hell as protesters and counter protesters clashed by local police stood back. In the end, one counter protester, a white woman named Heather Heyer, ended up being mowed down by a white nationalist and 34 other protesters were injured. Two troopers assigned to the governor’s travel detail killed in a helicopter crash.
Prior to the incident in Charlottesville, members of the Alt-Right and Antifa clashed July 7th at a KKK gathering and before that, March 13th at a White nationalist party. The continuous clashes between the warring factions forced the Department of Homeland Security to issue a confidential warning that the event had the potential to be “among the most violent to date” three days before Charlottesville.
“Anarchist extremists and white supremacist extremists online are calling on supporters to be prepared for or to instigate violence at the 12 August rally,” DHS warned.
In April of 2017, Portland became one of the many battlegrounds between the Alt-White and Antifa. Plans for a parade were derailed by the Direct Action Alliance who warned their followers that “Fascists plan to march through the streets,” and warned, “Nazis will not march through Portland unopposed.” The group denounced demonstrators who could “normalize support for an orange man who bragged about sexually harassing women and who is waging a war of hate, racism and prejudice.” A second group, Oregon Students Empowered, created a Facebook page called “Shut down fascism! No nazis in Portland!”
The parade was eventually canceled after the parade’s organizers received an anonymous email warning that if “Trump supporters” and others who promote “hateful rhetoric” marched, “we will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade … and drag and push those people out.” When Portland police said they lacked the resources to provide adequate security, the organizers canceled the parade. It was a sign of things to come.
Another warring faction, Black Lives Matter, has not directly clashed with the Alt-Right but their influence coupled with the hate-filled rhetoric that follows the White nationalists has led to the cancellation of several planned speeches by Spencer. It is just a matter of time however before the powder keg is ignited.
That time has arrived. In three days everything comes to a head in Gainesville. The University of Florida will be hosting Spencer and crew and Antifa as well as BLM will be on hand to ensure things do not go smoothly. With that in mind, Governor Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency for Alachua County. The proclamation constitutes a formal request for mobilization of the military, which shall be communicated to the President of the United States according to the 2017 Florida Statutes Emergency management powers of the Governor.
News reports are waiting until after the fact before reporting on how another confidential memo was issued advising local authorities the potential for violence and unrest. While we wait on that the different groups are planning their strategy and looking to unbalance the rest.
The state of emergency gives Rick Scott the authority to call in the National Guards to quell the expected unrest reminiscent of the Civil Rights movement during the 60’s. Laws and regulations will be suspended and the martial law will be the law of the land. While there will be casualties, losses on all sides, expect a disproportionate amount of casualties and arrests to be suffered by the ones the FBI is labelling Black Identity Extremists (BIE) and BLM.
BLM has already vowed to do everything in their power to keep Spencer from speaking. Antifa has promised to remain a thorn in the Alt-Right’s side. Spencer and the American Renaissance will not back down and will continue utilize the same freedom of speech that protects even their vile content. With so much tension on all sides, the pressure has only one place to go…
